What is a Martingale Collar

A martingale collar is a limited-slip dog collar designed to provide greater control and clearer communication without the continuous tightening action of a traditional slip collar. It uses a main neck band and a smaller control loop that tightens when tension is applied to the leash and releases when the tension is removed.

The Rogue Royalty Martingale Collar has been designed by a qualified dog trainer for effective training, handling and everyday control across dogs of different sizes and strength levels.

Unlike conventional collars that rely on a plastic or side-release buckle, our martingale design has no buckle eliminating a common potential breakage point. It features a stainless-steel control chain, stainless-steel sliders and adjusters, together with reflective stitching for increased visibility in low-light conditions.

How do I measure for a dog collar?

Wrap a soft tape snugly around the neck where the collar will sit usually on the middle of the neck. That circumference, not weight or breed, determines the correct size. Don't measure an old collar: leather stretches, our collars are built with padding and will give a a different reading. Don't add extra room to the measurement.
