Most pets are not getting enough Omega 3 in their diets which leads to inflammation and then diseases and poor health. Adding Omega-3 fats to the diet is vital and the three main anti-inflammatory fats dogs and cats need in their diet are GLA, ETA and EPA.

Animals eating grasses have an Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio of 1:1 to 5:1. Most dogs eating commercial raised animals are eating a diet that’s 15:1 or even 30:1. This imbalance in the diet is very inflammatory which may lead to many health issues.

Download the Miracle of Mutton Bird Oil - Omega Wild

"Since starting Kobe on Omega Wild oil 5 months ago we have seen a tremendous improvement with his energy levels and movement. Kobe also suffers from a neurological disorder which caused him to have episodes of vertigo. When an episode hits it caused his head to lean to the left and he goes off balances. Since starting him on the oil from Rogue Royalty, he has gone from having multiple episodes a day to barely one a week! An amazing improvement!
In terms of his movements, his back legs are no longer stiff and he no longer walks with fairly straight hind legs. They now bend with easy and no discomfort.
We have also switched Kobe to an all raw diet, sourcing all his food from Rogue and what an improvement that has made! Kobe’s fur has significantly improved, he no longer vomits or has diarrhea. His energy levels are 10x what they were previously and he is always alert.
When we first got Kobe, he was on a kibble and can food diet that was recommend by multiple pet store. We found this resulted in a lack of energy, bloating, frequent vomiting, hunger and excess water consumption.

We would like to thank the team at Rogue Royalty for all their ongoing support and knowledge!"
Regards,
Anastas & Christine

RESOURCE SUSTAINABILITY.

The Aboriginal community have always revered Mutton Birds and they’re by – products as essential food resources. One of the main cultural activities that the community still engages in, is gathering this resource from mid to late autumn.
Mutton Birds and by – products are a vital part of Aboriginal diet throughout the winter period. Mutton Birds are also harvested commercially by the community. A few years ago the (C.S.I.R.O) Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization reported that the numbers of Mutton Birds being seasonally harvest for both personal and commercial use were well within sustainable limit's. The annual harvest figures reported at that time was between 200,000 and 300,000 birds. The C.S.I.R.O study also concluded that based on the above figures, a threefold increase from the current level would still be well within sustainable limits. Since the C.S.I.R.O study the harvest of Mutton Birds by the Aboriginal community has been actually reduced to between 100,000 about 130,000 birds annually.
The commercial operators have decreased the number further to ensure the longevity and wellbeing for both the Mutton Birds and the community needs into the future.

Why Omega Wild® Mutton Bird Oil is Different

Unlike conventional fish oils, Omega Wild® Mutton Bird Oil is a naturally occurring marine oil produced by juvenile Short-tailed Shearwaters (commonly known as mutton birds) during the feeding process. Parent birds forage across the nutrient-rich Southern Ocean, returning with a concentrated meal of small fish, krill, copepods, zooplankton, and marine algae, which is then naturally processed into the oil within the chick's stomach.

This unique natural process results in an oil that has not been subjected to the mechanical pressing, high temperatures, chemical solvents, or industrial refining commonly used to produce many marine oils. Because of this, Omega Wild remains in its naturally occurring state.

A Nutrient-Rich Marine Oil

The Southern Ocean food chain consumed by mutton birds contains a wide variety of naturally occurring nutrients, including:

  • Marine Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA & DHA)
  • Naturally occurring antioxidants
  • Marine minerals and trace elements
  • Fat-soluble vitamins and other bioactive compounds

This diverse marine diet contributes to the unique nutritional profile of Omega Wild.

Naturally Rich in EPA & DHA

Omega Wild is naturally rich in the long-chain marine Omega-3 fatty acids EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid).

EPA and DHA are among the most extensively researched nutrients in nutrition science. Numerous studies have investigated their role in supporting:

  • Normal cardiovascular health
  • Healthy inflammatory responses
  • Joint comfort and mobility
  • Brain and nervous system function
  • Eye health
  • Skin and coat condition

Marine Omega-3s have been studied for both oral consumption and topical (dermal) applications.

Pure. Natural. Minimally Processed.

Unlike many commercial marine oils that require extraction and refining, Omega Wild is harvested as a naturally occurring oil produced by the bird itself. This means the oil has not undergone harsh industrial extraction processes that may alter its natural composition.

The result is a premium marine oil valued for its purity, natural origin, and unique place within the marine food chain.

For generations, mutton bird oil has also been traditionally used by Indigenous Tasmanian communities and other Australians as part of their cultural practices relating to health and wellbeing. Today, interest in this unique marine oil continues to grow as researchers further investigate the benefits of naturally occurring marine Omega-3 fatty acids.
